Love is what she believed in more than anything...

Gloria Vanderbilt, heiress, artist, and fashion icon, has died at 95. New York royalty, Vanderbilt lived life on her own terms, thriving through the good, the bad and the ugly: poverty, family conflict, and multiple marriages.

The legend has been beautifully eulogized by her son, CNN’s Anderon Cooper. According to him, she passed at home, surrounded by friends and family, after a battle with advanced stomach cancer.

“She always pressed on, always worked hard, always believed the best was yet to come. And she was always in love. Love is what she believed in more than anything,” he says. “Gloria Vanderbilt was 95 years old when she died. What an extraordinary life. What an extraordinary mom. What an incredible woman.”
