Policies & Procedures for Southern Ground Music & Food Festival
HERSHEYPARK Stadium | August 30 & 31

Parking Lot Information

Concert parking lots will open at 12:00 PM each day for concert goers.  Vehicles should not park along surrounding roadways prior to the parking lots opening.  

All standard sized vehicles will be charged the normal rate upon entering the parking area.  No overnight parking is permitted for standard sized vehicles.

A parking charge of $20.00 per day will be collected from all oversized vehicles (campers, RV’s, buses, etc.) upon entering the parking area.  RV’s and Campers may remain parked overnight, on Saturday night only, in the designated parking area for an additional charge of $45.00 per day, for a total of $65.00 per day.  

One vehicle = one space.

All vehicles must park in spaces as directed by parking lot staff.  Saving spaces will not be permitted.  Groups desiring to park together, must arrive together.

Please follow the direction of parking signs and parking lot staff.  Parking areas have been identified and will be clearly marked. Please see map for additional information on parking areas.

Hersheypark and Giant Center parking lots will not be open for tailgating.  These lots may be open to non-tailgaters approximately one (1) hour before gates to the Stadium open.

Aisles and fire lanes must remain clear at all times for emergency response vehicles.

Tailgating Policies

Hershey Entertainment & Resorts believes in promoting safe and responsible tailgating at events.  The following rules have been created and will be actively enforced so that all guests can enjoy their concert experience.

·     Tailgating is only permitted in designated parking areas.
·     No fire pits or open flames are permitted.  Small charcoal portable grills are allowed.  Portable propane units are limited to one pound propane cylinders.
·     Deep fryers or any oil-based cooking or frying devices are prohibited.
·     Portable generators are not permitted.
·     Trash receptacles will be located in the parking lots. Tailgaters must bag and properly dispose of all trash in designated receptacles.  Trash and recycling bags will be provided to you upon entering the parking area.

Stadium Policies

All persons and hand carried items entering the Stadium will be subject to search.  Please leave all non-essential items secured in your vehicle.  Hershey Entertainment & Resorts assumes no liability for missing or stolen property.

Guests must wear shoes at all times inside the Stadium.

First Aid personnel will be present in the parking lots prior to the show and inside the Stadium during the show.  Contact the nearest employee for assistance.

Smoking is only permitted in designated areas within the Stadium.

The following items will not be permitted in to the Stadium:

Coolers, inflatable items, laser pointers, signs and banners, glow sticks, spike jewelry, wallet chains, weapons of any kind, aerosol cans, umbrellas, lawn chairs, outside food and beverages (to include alcoholic beverages), illegal substances, video recording devices.  Audio recording devices are permitted for the Zac Brown Band concert only.  Hershey Entertainment & Resorts reserves the right to stop all items from entering the Stadium that could pose a risk to public safety.

Camera Policy:  Disposable, box cameras, 35mm, camera phones and small digital cameras are all allowed.  Any camera with a detachable lens or a lens that extends more than 3” will not be permitted.
