Ariana Grande unveiled her latest single “Best Mistake” featuring Big Sean and in an effort to surprise her fans (again), the 21-year-old also dropped the official music video for her Zedd-produced single, “Break Free.”
The visual plays off the space-themed lyric video she released in July, but this time, the Yours Truly artist plays an intergalactic space warrior. The futuristic visual opens with the “Baby I” singer battling a horde of aliens in an attempt to release her cadets from the steel cages.
After getting captured by the alien overlord, the pop-soul singer manages to break free from the shackles, and she celebrates by floating in zero gravity and dancing with the extraterrestrials at the space station, which Zedd is DJing.
“I did a song with Zedd, who I just met for the first time,” the singer told On Air with Ryan Seacrest of the collaboration in May. “I really want that to be the second single. My whole team is like, ‘Oh, it’s too early to pick a new single,’ but I’m really … I love that song so much. He’s fantastic and the song is really fun, and it’s very different for me especially.”
“Break Free” is the follow-up single to the Iggy Azalea-assisted single “Problem” and the predecessor to “Best Mistake.” All three cuts serve as a preview for her sophomore studio album My Everything, which is out August 25 and features collaborations from Childish Gambino, The Weeknd, and A$AP Ferg.
Jennifer Lopez also took to Instagram on Wednesday to flaunt two things: the regal artwork for her new single “Booty” featuring Pitbull, and her well-curved derriere.
Check it out below!
In the black-and-white photo, Jennifer, 45, is dressed in a backless leotard with her backside towards the camera as she looks over he shoulder with piercing eyes.
The “On the Floor” singer captioned the jaw-dropping photo using the hashtags: “#bootyfromtheblock #bootyandthebeat #naturalbooty #bootybootybootybootybootyeverywhere #jlobooty #LOL.” She also tags the track producer — and twerk-evoking maestro — Diplo.
“Booty”– the follow-up to “I Luh Ya Papi” and “First Love” — is the third cut off her A.K.A. album, available on iTunes now.
