I don't really believe there's a war on Christmas. But I DO believe that when people are OVERLY POLITICALLY CORRECT, they end up trying to ruin it. Here's the latest idiocy.
A school in Laxa, in central Sweden, has BANNED gingerbread men . . . because they're RACIST. But the school couldn't even say WHICH race they're racist against. Is it black people? Latinos? Indians? We don't know. But isn't lumping every non-white race together offensive too?
There's more. It's a tradition in Sweden for kids to dress up this time of year as stars, gnomes, or gingerbread men. The school has banned the gingerbread men, but DOES allow the kids to dress up as stars, which includes wearing WHITE ROBES and WHITE POINTED HOODS. So gingerbread men are out for being racist, but apparently KKK outfits are all good.
When parents pushed the school, they changed from saying gingerbread men were racist to saying gingerbread men are offensive to kids with allergies. Clearly THEY don't even know what battle they're fighting anymore.
