Congratulations to our December 2013 Teacher Salute Winner... Mrs. LeLani Grossbauer, 2nd Grade Teacher at Paxinosa Elementary School in Easton!
Mrs. Grossbauer was nominated by her student Daniel Carreto and his mom Shannon Hawk.
Below is what Shannon had to say about Mrs. Grossbauer:
"I am nominating Mrs. Grossbauer because I have seen all of the hard work that she has done with my son and all of her students. Mrs. Grossbauer has really brought out the best in her students. She does her job to the fullest point of nurturing in ways that her students can understand. My son Daniel had some difficulties in Math and Reading, but with the help of Mrs. Grossbauer he has grown in both subjects and he really understands math better and he is a better reader. All and all Mrs. Grossbauer really deserves the teacher salute for all of her hard work and solid dedication to each and every one of her students."
Congrats and THANK YOU to Mrs. Grossbauer for her hard work and dedication! Mike and Steph will be visiting Mrs. Grossbauer's classroom soon with prizes from Little Caesars & Meera Salon & Day Spa!
Congrats to our November 2013 Teacher Salute Winner... Mrs. Maureen Thorley, 6th, 7th & 8th Grade Math & Computers Teacher at Notre Dame of Bethlehem School!
Mrs. Thorley was nominated by her past student: Lauren Vargas
Below is what Lauren had to say about Mrs. Thorley:
"I am nominating Mrs.Thorley because she is such a wise and caring woman. She truly cares about her students and wants them to do well. Even after her students have moved on to high school she still tutors them. Mrs. Thorley was my math teacher for three years in middle school and even though I have moved on to high school and in my third year, she still tutors me. I have friends in high school that never had her as a teacher in middle school, but she never turns them away and offers to help them as well. She sometimes can have two or three study sessions a day after school is over and they can continue late into the night. I can tell that she loves her job very much and enjoys helping her students. Mrs.Thorley is such a saint and truly has a heart of gold!"
Congrats and Thank you again to Mrs. Thorley for her hardwork and dedication! Mike & Steph will be visiting her classroom soon with a class pizza party from Little Caesar's Pizza! And Mrs. Thorley will enjoy a $250 Gift Certificate to Meera Salon & Day Spa!
Congratulations to our FIRST Teacher Salute Winner for the 2013 / 2014 School Year & the Month of October... Mrs. Patti Moser!
Mrs. Moser is a 3rd Grade Teacher at Willams Township Elementary School in Easton! She was nominated by her daughter, Meghan!
Below is what Meghan had to say about Mrs. Moser:
"I am not nominating Mrs. Moser because I have a child in her class but because I am her daughter and she is one of the best teachers I know. Growing up it was always rough having a mom as a teacher because there were no "fake" sick days for me. I used to think she was so mean for doing that to me, but in the end she was teaching me a lesson. Whenever I needed help studying or had questions about school I could always go right to her for help. I used to love going to school with her on bring your child to work day when I got older because I would be able to see how she interacts with her students and they would always have 100 questions for me. She has been teaching for about 30 years and still loves her job and what she does. She teaches for the same school district she went to school in, as to give back to the community as they gave to her years ago. She is trying to make a difference in these children’s lives. She gives them the extra time and attention they need, no matter what. I honestly could go on and on but no words could honestly describe what an amazing teacher and person I think she is.
Congrats again to Mrs. Moser for being such wonderful teacher! Mike and Steph will be visiting Mrs. Moser's classroom soon with a class pizza party from Little Caesars and Mrs. Moser will also receive a $250 Gift Certificate from Meera Salon & Day Spa!
