Contest is open to solo vocal performers; Ages 13-28! All entries must include a DVD featuring a song of the contestants choice sung a cappella (without music).
Deadline for entry is Friday, August 15th

Official Contest Rules:
· Solo performers only!
· Contest submission must be accompanied by a non-returnable DVD only featuring a song of the contestant’s choice sung a cappella (without music).
· Parent or Guardian must sign application form if contestant is under 18
· Contestants may not be represented by or hold contractual deals with a talent agency
· From all contest entries received, 15 contestants will be chosen by the Allentown Fair. Contestants will be notified by phone of their acceptance into the finals.
· New this year: contestants who are chosen to perform in the finals may bring an instrument to enhance their musical performance. The contestant must play their own instrument and the instrument must be quickly and easily carried on and off the stage by contestant. Power will not be provided for instruments. Contestants will sing for 104 seconds either a cappella, with non-vocal CD accompaniment or with an instrument at the B104 Be An Idol Contest on Friday, August 29th.
· The stage has an 11ft clearance between the floor and roof bottom. The performance area is 25 ft wide by 15 ft deep.
· A panel of judges will choose the top 5 contestants, who will perform an additional 104 second selection and after that the Top 3 contestants will perform one of their musical selections in its ENTIRETY and be judged by the panel of judges and the audience via text messaging courtesy of Verizon Wireless!
