JOHN McAFEE, the high-tech pioneer whose anti-virus security software is installed on computers worldwide, is on the lam from police in Belize who are investigating the murder of his neighbor.

The multimillionaire is a prime suspect in the Nov. 10th  killing of Gregory Faull.  Faull, who had recently filed a police complaint against McAfee for discharging firearms, was discovered by a housekeeper, according to a police report.

McAfee, whose former company was purchased by Intel in 2010 for nearly $7.7 billion, moved to Belize in 2008, intending to launch a company that manufactured herbal antibiotics from jungle plants.  In recent years, however, his strange behavior had alienated him from neighbors and others in the American expat community in Belize.

The most anticipated moment of the big event? The arrival of the film's on- and offscreen lovebirds, KRISTEN STEWART and ROBERT PATTINSON.

The Twilight twosome have been making the rounds recently to promote the final installment of the franchise but have been typically tight-lipped regarding the on-again status of their relationship.

BARBARA WALTERS was going to have a sit-down chat with LINDSAY LOHAN for what was being called a “no holds barred, no questions off-limits” conversation to promote her ELIZABETH TAYLOR made-for-TV movie, “Liz & Dick.” But on Friday, it was reported that Lohan’s new publicity team cancelled the November 16 “20/20” appearance fearing Walters would ask questions that could affect the cases against her. Walters was somewhat understanding of the decision … until the actress agreed to do an interview with JAY LENO instead.

As Walters noted, Lohan’s decision to go on Leno’s show is arguably the easy way out of having to do press for “Liz & Dick”. Over the years, many stars have sat on the late-night king’s couch hoping to sweep any negative press they have under the rug – and Leno typically obliges with softball questions.
