
Last night was the 40th Anniversary of the American Music Awards and it was a big night for a lot of B104 artists. JUSTIN BIEBER won Artist of the year, Pop/rock male artist and Pop/rock album, New artist of the year was CARLY RAE JEPSEN, Pop/rock female artist went to KATY PERRY, MAROON 5 won Pop/rock band, duo or group, Country female artist winner was TAYLOR SWIFT.
CARRIE UNDERWOOD won the Country album category, NICKI MINAJ won both Rap/hip-hop artist and Rap/hip-hop album. Soul/R&B female artist went to BEYONCE. Best Soul/R&B male artist is USHER. Soul/R&B album winner was RIHANNA. Alternative rock artist went to LINKIN PARK. ADELE was Adult contemporary artist winner.

JUSTIN BIEBER and SELENA GOMEZ got in an epic argument during dinner Friday - they didn't even make it to the appetizer.
The "couple" had an argument while inside the restaurant and Selena left less than 10 minutes into the meal. Justin quickly followed.

In other box-office news, Skyfall finished the weekend with a worldwide total of $669.2 million to become the top-grossing James Bond pic of all time.
Steven Spielberg's awards contender Lincoln also made headlines as it expanded nationwide. The historical drama took in a strong $21 million from 1,775 theaters.
