Apparently LINDSAY LOHAN’S scuffle was about a boy – that boy is MAX from the boy band "The Wanted".

Lindsay went to the JUSTIN BIEBER concert -- but not to see Biebs -- "The Wanted" was the opening act ... and Lindsay has been scoping Max out for the last few days.

Lindsay tried to get backstage after the concert to see him -- but she was blocked. Later that evening Lindsay met up with Max, Jay and Tom at a hotel bar.

As the evening wore on, sources say Lindsay got very tipsy ... and it turned Max off. He then started talking to another woman, which enraged Lindsay. That woman is the one Lindsay is accused of battering. 

Speaking of Bieber, he has had a really good year. He released his third studio album, launched a world tour and continued investing in startups. All in all, he earned $55 million in 12 months.

But it was super-producer, DR.DRE leading the pack this year with $110 million, thanks largely to his Beats headphone line.

HALLE BERRY found herself in the news over Thanksgiving weekend after Berry's ex GABRIEL AUBRY got into an all-out brawl with her fiancé, OLIVIER MARTINEZ, when Aubry was dropping off his and Berry's 4-year-old daughter, Nahla, on Thanksgiving morning.

TMZ is reporting that the home where the altercation took place is actually up for sale and that Berry quietly listed her Tuscan-style mansion a few weeks back for $15 million.

While the property isn't being advertised for sale nor is it listed, Berry has gotten an offer of $11 million, which she turned down.

ABC yesterday said it was keeping DICK CLARK’S name on “Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” special, even though he passed away in May.

Clark started the special in 1972 on rival NBC and hosted it for 33 years in a row until he suffered a stroke in 2004.

So far “Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve” lineup includes TAYLOR SWIFT, FLO RIDA, PITBULL and CARLY RAE JEPSEN.
