A woman who claims she was hired to work as Justin Bieber's chef has been charged with beating up her boyfriend.

According to legal documents, Sara Horowitz got into an argument with her boyfrend after she dropped a cooler filled with food inside a car and it made a mess.  Sara's boyfriend -- El Paso TV weatherman Mark Mathis -- was not pleased and they started arguing.

According to the police, things escalated and Sara allegedly punched and kicked Mark, breaking his glasses and scratching his face.

She was arrested April 10 for assault/family violence and charged the next day with a misdemeanor.

So far no comment from Sara's camp.

When "The Avengers" conquered the box office last summer, Robert Downey Jr. reportedly saw a supersized check - $50 million by some estimates - for services rendered.

Now for the confirmation!  In the new issue of GQ, which features Downey on the cover, the interviewer comes right out and asks the actor if the astronomical number is accurate.

"Yeah ... isn’t that crazy?” he says.

While Downey already has a platinum bank account, he's looking for Oscar gold. He's twice been nominated for the Academy Award, but counts no wins.

"Look, even if I don’t get one directly, eventually they’re just going to have to give me one when I get old. So no matter how you slice it, I’m getting one," he concludes.

"Iron Man 3," costarring Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle, opens May 3.

A follow up to the headline from the other day – According to TMZ, Sharon Osbourne is in the business of tough love.  Apparently she's NOT going to reconcile with hubby Ozzy Osbourne until he proves to her he'll be sober for the long haul.

Sources connected to the couple say even though Ozzy says he's been sober for 44
days ... it's not enough for her. She's been living with this most recent bout of drug and alcohol abuse for a year-and-a-half and Sharon is saying 44 days doesn't make that go away.

Ozzy has admitted his boozing and drug use caused their split but he's confident Sharon will
NOT end their 31-year marriage by filing for divorce.

Survivor winner Ethan Zohn was also participating in the marathon, writing   on Twitter, “I’m OK. Most importantly, praying for those injured and   affected by this. Still don’t have a lot of info. Thanks for your love   and concern.”
